Last month we rented a car at Heathrow airport from Avis. The rental was for 10 days. On the third day a reperesentative called checking wheter we still had the car. She said the rental had been cancelled. She told me this had been an employee error and it would be correcrted. We realised later that our credit card had already been billed for the full ten day period. We called again and were told we would need to deal with this when we returned the car. We did this.
