I called to inquire about doing a home loan modification because my current interest rate is 9.5% and I was told by the customer service department that I wasn't eligible for a modification because my loan wasn't past due, my interest rate hasn't gone up and because according to the financial information, I have $200.00 left over each month once I pay all of my bills.
