Prior to the buyout/takeover of TWA, I had flown nearly 1, 000, 000 miles...the AA took over and everything went out the window. In September of 2008, my Sales Promotion Department at Keller Crescent Advertising in Evansville, Indiana was dissolved due to financial issues. I thought this site could use a little good news, rather than a complaint for a change. I recently had a mishap in Costa Rica with a Delta gate agent who was extremely uncooperative. When I got back to the US, I contacted Delta Customer Service and worked with a woman named Dorothy Sellers who was extremely professional and conscientious. I set up a time for a claims adjuster to come to my home and appraise the hail damage to my car. The time was set for sometime between 9 am and 2 pm (wow, i wonder what MY clients would say if i scheduled a meeting for somtime within a 5 hour window!!! WTF?) I waited around all day until 2:18 pm and decided to give Progressive Insurance a call to see where the adjuster was. I just happened to look at a recent itemized statement from my CLOSED Capital One Credit Card account and noticed a single charge for $11.99 from TLG*GREATFN15070642MAR 800-290-8603 CT. I contacted this company and discovered that I had been charged for SEVERAL billing cycles for a service that I have NEVER used and had no idea what the charges were for.
