After deciding not to attend a friend's wedding, we found cheap flights on Jetstar which meant that my husband, daughter and I could fly return from Melbourne to Sydney for $320. The booking went through as above - I'm not stupid and so I KNOW I selected our departure to be Melbourne (bloody Avalon) and destination as Sydney with the return flights in reverse.
