This complaint is prompted by GEICO's latest moronic commercial, the one with the woman's unexpected blood-curdling shriek. This is very annoying and jarring to me, but I have a friend who is caring for a mother with Alzheimer's, and the poor old lady becomes very upset and begins crying when it comes on.
