The "Tourist Trap" of Fitness... Misleading professionalism, the entire company is based on Marketing & pushing the employee & member to its spending limits, while the "heads in Corporate" sit back with secure jobs. The company has no regard for "the member experience, " nor "the employee experience." They believe in "TAKING" from employees & members, then trashing them out the door. Too many issues with this company. Aside from fraud and unprofessionalism the clubs are overpriced. Members are trainers and instructors. On long island they have the worse staff, all that have "records" from the past. Originally, the clubs had the best in mgmnt, and few changes occured, until about 1 year ago they "cleaned house" of the best staff. As a Former Manager for this company, pls be aware of working for this company, in any capacity. The company hires people with the "expectation" to bring in new members. After about 12 months, if you're still working for EQ, the company "unexpectly" fires the employee, by falsely claiming: "Insubordination, Misconduct, Misappropriation of funds, & many other "vague" examples, to show the employee "the door."
