I was just notified that AMEX canceled by credit card using a credit report as the reason. My credit is clean. I have had the card for years, never made a single late payment, recently paid off the balance on the card and now in fact have a credit balance! Their canceling the card will reflect badly on my credit report. This is an outrageous practice and there should be consequences for a company expecting a bailout with my tax $$$! read full review »
