Western Health Advantage
The company advertises comparison pricing that appears to yield a 33% decrease in prescription co-payments while in reality the cost is 100% more for the same time interval. For example, Nexium, the stomach medication is advertised as follows: $40 for a 90-day supply compared to $20 for a 30-day supply through a retail pharmacy. In reality, they contact the physician and obtain a 30-day prescription that results in a charge of $40 for 30-days or $120 for 90-days, compared to the retail price of $60 (3 -$20 for 30-day charges.) read full review »
