This company operates under different names and it looks like they keep on adding business names whenever there are too many reports about their business practices. Usually they will show up on Nextag with a price well below their competitors. You place an order and you will get a generic email that does not even contain your name, describe the product that you ordered or the price that you paid. Later someone will call you, tell you that you have to pay extra for insurance, tax, a rechargeable battery... You will also be informed that the... read full review »
Big Lots
From all the stuff that I bought from "Big Lots", only a few items survived the first 60 days. For example: I still have the window curtains... (this is the kind of stuff you can buy from them) - anything that can fail, will fail right after their 30 day return period expires. They know why they are not offering 90 days like Walmart... if you consider that the sooooooo cheap stuff from them ends up in the garbage can within a few months, you might agree that the price is not that great. read full review »
US Airways
One of their flight attendants slammed her trolley against my knee, it is still swollen - were she hit me it is green and blue. Obviously for this airline it is a normal procedure to hit passengers if they are in the way: FA's comment was "these kind of accidents can't be avoided." US Airways never replied to my complaints. I have been flying for over 40 years with dozens of different airlines and never had such an experience with other Airlines. It looks like it is a normal thing for them that passengers get injured by negligent FA's and they consider it a wast of time to respond. US Airways: NEVER AGAIN ! read full review »
Hawaiian Airlines
In March 2010 I saw that Hawaiian Airlines was advertising a feature for "Hawaiian Miles" members that would allow them to book a Roundtrip flight paying one leg with Dollars and the other one with Miles. I was planning a trip to Manila and decided to convert 49, 000 Amex points (worth $ 490.-) into Hawaiian Miles so that I could pay one leg with Miles, as advertised. (the cost for one leg was 60, 000 Miles, the cost for the RT in Miles was 120, 000. When I tried to book this flight I saw that each time when I switched one leg from... read full review »
Star Alliance Miles and More
Lufthansas information about the benefits of their "Miles and More" program is wrong. When it gets to a point where they would have to admit this, they just don't answer anymore. Any company that cares about its reputation would try to make it straight if a customer was deceived by their information. Not so Lufthansa or its "Star Alliance Partners". Obviously there is no government agency that regulates frequent flier programs so that Airlines can basically make any kind of promises without having to fear any consequence... read full review »
