Payments submitted for late fees were not being applied to the late fee charges. According to the Billng Rights Summary, the consumer has to call and request allocation of payments to the late fee charges. My Jan 09 statement had a $58.27 purchase charge for late fees. I called and had an allocation for this payment applied to these charges. The following mos after that, charges appeared, customer service said they were handling it.
