I received my June 2009 Chevron/GEMB statement and noticed a $29 late fee despite the account having been paid in full. Upon my inquiry as to the late charge, Chevron/GEMB informed me that my paid in full check was one day late. I disputed their claim and requested the $29 late fee be removed. Chevron/GEMB refused to remove the late fee despite the fact that my account had been paid in full and that my account history clearly detailed my account had been paid in full each and every month for the past 6 months and beyond.
