We had a horrendous experience with National City bank in Coldwater, MI. We originally went in to refinance our house at a lower advertised rate and to open a new checking account. We were told we could get overdraft protection. At one time, we decided we had to use it. To our utter dismay, they invented a story that they had called us and said we did not get the overdraft protection. We never received any such call or message.
