On June 25, 2009 I called the 800 number for directv regarding an offer I had received in the mail. I was interested in changing to a pkg that was $34.99 for 12 mos and included 3 free mos of HBO, Starz & Showtime plus my local channels. After the 12 mos the charge would be $55.99. When I called to order it, I was told it was only for first time customers. It was obvious to me that, already being a customer they were trying to do a switch and bait routine on me, which really made me mad.
