I joined a Lady of America Fitness center with a 1 year contract. Along with the 1 year, there was an additional 2 years available for renewing at the same price. After joining, I read some bad reviews on this site, or one similar about National Fitness (the previous company name that handled the gym's financial stuff) and the problems that people were having when they tried to cancel, and not renew, after their contracts were up.
