The bank offered a promotional incentive for the opening of new accounts. The offer initially began as a promise to provide a $250 Visa gift card for the opening of a new account and the meeting of certain criteria (direct deposit, etc.). After I opened my account, I brought my teenagers to open accounts for them. By then the offer had been lowered to $150, which was fine. The problem is that the bank never provided any of the cards. Only after I made persistent calls to the bank did they noffer to deposit $200 into my account, which I declined. They deposited the money anyway. The deal was $250!!!
