Pelham Saddlery
I sent a high end dressage saddle to Pelham Saddlery on consignment. It was in brand new condition (never even girthed up) and worked with Pelham to set the selling price. After approximately six months and no sale, I contacted Pelham to have them return my saddle and provided a credit card number to cover the shipping charges. A few days later I received a box measuring 8 inches by 8 inches by, if I remember correctly, 24 inches. (The 8 by 8 inches measurements are accurate.) Submitted two textbooks for buyback. One was slightly used (no writing, no damage, no highlighting, but you could tell that the book had been read). The second was in brand new condition, never opened or put on a shelf. It was purchased new, placed on a table or desk (in a clean, non-smoking home). I told them I was sending a "used condition" and a "new condition" book and packaged each in a separate Tyvek envelope, wrapped each with bubble wrap and placed in a double-walled box--extremely well packaged.
