National Career Fair
In February 2009, I attended a National Career Fair in metropolitan Atlanta at a local hotel (the Holiday Inn) and this job fair was a complete joke. They advertised this job fair as if lots of employers were going to be there for a variety of openings and you would have thought the fair would have been in a big sized room with at least 40 or more employers. Instead, they had less than 20 employers and the conference room that the fair was in was about the size of a basketball court and I ended handing my resume to one employer. Quality Inn
The Quality Inn hotel in Carrollton is not the best place to spend the night when visiting Carrollton, Georgia. The room was uncomfortable and the guest who stayed at the hotel was very loud.
The employees at the hotel are very helpful in helping you get checked in and the parking lot was clean and there were good parking near my room. My biggest complaint is that the guest who spent the night there. Wentworth Inc.
I applied twice for a marketing company named Wentworth Inc. in Atlanta, a marketing company that known for its sales and client acquisition. The first time I applied through HotJobs.com in January, I received a phone call the next day and the company representative said they wanted to do an interview tomorrow. Silvalining Marketing
Back in February, I submitted an application to Silvalining Marketing in Marietta, Georgia. The very next day, I received an e-mail by the Human Resource Manager saying that they were impressed by my resume and they wanted to have an interview and to call their assistance to schedule an interview. For the next week and a half, I kept calling up the company every other day (excluding the weekends) and leaving a message for the assistance.
