My 22 year old daughter recently made an error in her checking account that resulted in a negative balance of $1.32. This started a series of fees that have grown to $475.00 in 10 days. She had no idea she was overdrawn (because again, it was a mistake) and therfore had no reason to check the balance. In the meantime, she continued to use her Debit card daily and was able to withdraw as much as she needed.
