My husband was laid off June 15th due to cut backs. We immediatly sent out a letter to inform our creditors of what was happening. After a week had passed and we still had not recieved unemployment, fell behind on our house payment as well as every payment we sent out another letter explaining that our situation was still the same. The next week I called the creditors to talk to them. GE is the most difficult to get through to speak to a rep.
