It was about seven years ago that we went on line and reserved at Mustang for a fun anniversary weekend. When we arrived we were informed that due to the time of year they didn't have any Mustangs and offered a Taurus as a replacement. The rental agent didn't seem to understand the reason someone would rent a sporty Mustang and why a Taurus wasn't an acceptable replacement.
