Ok, so the scam comes in the fine print of the disclosure agreement that we (me included) never read but just check the "I agree" box. In that disclosure somewhere is the authorization for a trial membership for the google program as well as 2 other programs (in my case). During the 7 day trial you can cancel, if you don't (which I did not) then they will charge 39.95 for google, 7.95 for Federal Grants search and 9.95 for network agenda.
