Berthoud, referred to as the ""Garden Spot of Colorado,"" is situated midway between Denver and Fort Collins. Just south of the town, the Little Thompson River flows through a forest of unending trees and wide open areas. If you want to experience a small-town atmosphere with access to outdoor activities, this is a terrific spot to go.
