After storm damage to my house, the insurance company made the settlement check out to me and the mortgage company. It was our understanding that we would endorse the check and send it to citimortgage, along with requested documents, and they would immediately send us a check for half the amount so we could begin repairs. Two weeks later we are still waiting for the check, and now they have informed us it will be made out to us and to the roofer. I explained to them that the roof is only one part of the damages.
