I bought Sony Ericsson mobile on 3rd May 2009. From day one I noticed that the phone goes off from the network if its kept idle (no phone calls received or made). This is noticed in the mornings when the phone was idle at nights. I can see the network signal strength and service provider's name on the phone screen, but all callers will receive the phone is switched off.
