We are under warranty for our receiver, which quit working. We contacted customer service at DirecTV and scheduled a date/time for a tech to come. Two days before the scheduled service date, a tech called and said that an earlier time had come available and were we interested. We said sure and my husband stayed home from work to be available. When the tech never showed, my husband called DirectTV and was told that they had no way of getting in touch with the tech who worked for MasTec.
