First, I should admit I am not so super knowledgeable about tecnicalities on computers. However, I bought an Acer aspire laptop 5738 series at Dubai last May 2009. On June, I suddenly experienced something is wrong, the screen went blank with just a cursor on the upper left. so i run the recovery disk, and reinstalled everything. It went okay until sometime in July it said "disk failure". Its so disappointing.
