Two different RTO offices in Bangalore have calculated taxes differently for the same vehicle. I had first visited the Jayanagar RTO and then the RTO on the Hosa road. The Jayanagar RTO personnel calculated the tax and the same was duly paid, but since my residence is in the jurisdiction of the of the other RTO, they directed me to submit the papers in the other one.
