Costco's whole business model is based on membership. You need to pay a fee to become a member, at which point you are allowed to make purchases at their stores. Sure, okay, fine. I understand that. What I do not understand is why they have a new absurd policy requiring that payment comes ONLY from the members. Here's what happened: my parents are both Costco members; I am not.
