A friend of mine searching for the green card lottery site (a free site by the US government) by mistake came across USAFIS.org and added personal details (not credit card) including a phone number. She then on a daily basis received threating calls from this company saying that if she didn't give them her credit card details and paid them money for a green card application, they would make sure that she never would be able to enter the US and never be able to win a green card.
