It all started in January 2009. I was cancelled by Alstate for Homeowners insurance. I called Autoclub of Southern california and they sent out an agent. He gave a quote and said I had to make some changes to our delling. I did the changes myself and a policy was inacted. All this happened on 1/23/2009. There was a lapse on 16 days from the old policy expired till the new one was inforce. AHMSI didn't recognize the new policy and my agent as well as myself sent them copies of the new policy.
