I brought a salad from another restaurant into Coffee Bean to purchase tea to have with my salad. When I sat down I was told that my food was not Kosher and I could not eat it there and had to leave. I have gone to that coffee bean on my lunch break everyday for over three years and watched many other people bring in food, even bagels from a shop down the street, and I've never heard anyone be told this.
