My husband purchased a pair of K-Swiss trainers on Wednesday and paid >£50. On Saturday they split and we tried to return them to the store (JD Sports, South Gyle). Unfortunately my husband paid cash and didnt keep the receipt. The Retailer has refused an exchange, never mind refund, as there was no proof of purhcase. I have contacted their Customer Service team and am shocked at their response - if the member of staff in question remembers serving my husband then he will possibly get a refund, but thats the only way.
