Back in October I had telephoned Wells Fargo about my mortgage payments because I foresaw a financial problem occurring in the months to come. I tried to get my loan modified to stay in good standing with my payments and all they wanted to do was make me agree to a "Promise to Pay Program", basically stating that I promised to pay them if I fell behind on any month (s).
