Today, I went to the TD branch where my account is located to have a cheque certified. Believe me, if I could do it myself, I certainly would. After waiting in line for over 15 minutes minutes, while the limited amount of tellers finished schmoozing with a colleague who had just returned from lunch, I was finally "helped". The teller spoke minimal English and had never certified a cheque before. He had to look up the process on his system.
