In August of 2006 we purchased a refregirator from Sears Canada. This GE model we found later was made in Mexico. This was a $2700. plus taxes purchase. It is the model with a freezer with 2 doors opening at the upper level and the freezer at as a bottom drawer. Three months after our purchase, we had the right door replaced due to the top latch being broken. Another six months later we had the left door replaced for the same reason.
