I recieved a letter stating that I was the winner in a contest held earlier this year. In this letter was a check in the amount of $4885.00. The instructions were that this check was advanced to me from my winnings for the purpose of paying the taxes due on this amount. I was also to call and arrange thru Western Union a transfer of 2985.00 to a designated address. Once this was done I would recieve the balance of my winnings which would have been $250, 000.
