I had voip phone service through comcast. My modem went on a Friday and my phone did not work. I called Comcast and told them the modem was bad, your 10 minutes away, I will bring the old modem and exchange it. I was told a technician had to come out first. So, I made the appointment for Monday at 1:30. I told them I will be home and to not call as the phone does not work.
