Vitamix Corporation
Thomas Fox March 7, 2011
David and Goliath, the High-Performance-Blender War Vitamix is at it again. The multi-million-dollar Ohio high performance blender giant has made news last year, after having been found guilty by a Federal Court in Utah for patent infringement against the famous Blendtec Corporation. Another Utah company, has been importing a very competitive 3 horsepower blender, the OMNI V blender. The OMNI blender is Vitamix-compatible, has a 7 years warranty, is every bit as good as Vitamix and can be purchased for about $250. Vitamix apparently... read full review »

Blendtec 96oz 3 quart JAR
Thomas Fox September 5, 2010
A few years ago, Blendtec (K-Tec) came out with a 96oz 5-sided jar / container to sell to restaurants with their smoother blender package. In December 2009, this same container began being offered by Blendtec with the HP3A and Total Blender to consumers. To say this, a lots of containers were sold at a retail cost between 150$ + dollars prior, and after November 2009 for about $100. The container identified and advertised as a 3 quart, or 96 oz jar was found by consumers to be actually only accepting 76oz. This fraud require... read full review »

Blendtec HP3A etc... blenders
Thomas Fox July 28, 2010
I have been selling about 50+ blendtec blenders per month with an average of $ 50 profit on each blender, and that for a few years. (My business www.3blenders.com). I review blenders and their functionality. Because Blendtec blenders are noisy (3 hp blender motor) I have designed a sound enclosure specifically to fit the EZ blender, the Total blender, and the HP3A. I have also designed and offered to sell a blender tamper / dowel for these blenders due to customer demand. I have seen some smoothie bars using the EZ blender with spatula... read full review »

Blendtec 96 oz Container is only 76 oz
Thomas Fox May 29, 2010
The 96 oz Blendtec (5-sided) container with the 4 inch blade is not a 96 oz or 3 quart container. After testing I can proof and demonstrate that it only fits 76 fluid ounces of content into the container before spilling / lid is put in place. As many know, Blendtec promotes the 3 quart container as the latest hype for greater portion blending. Some consumers out there surely make a blendtec decision just because of the 3 quart container choice. However, now that we know it is not, perhaps consumers consider just buying the blendtec hp3a... read full review »

Capital One Auto Finance
Thomas Fox May 15, 2010
I paid my car loan off April 2, 2010. Today is May 15, 2010. I have yet to receive my title. I need to sell my car and can't. I lost buyers twice because I can't deliver the title... Ironically, while they are permitted to cause financial harm to consumers, fees piling up, interest rates raised and other fees extorted, and reporting credit delinquencies, or even take away cars that have not been paid on time... I have no recourse available to me immediately. I can sue, and so help me the world and God, I will! I extended a loss of $ 4500, because I was unable to sell the car, due to the missing title sign off. read full review »

Blendtec / Blendtec HP3A & Total Blenders
Thomas Fox February 18, 2010
Blendtec CEO Tom Dickson, aka the Will-It-Blend Guy on www.willitblend.com has contacted Thomas Fox, manager of 123Vita, LLC and the website www.3blenders.com by telephone. Tom Dickson said that he wanted to help Mr Fox to save money. He then said that if Mr. Fox would refuse to take off all Blendtec trademarked images and names from the website that he would litigate / sue him with allegedly the best lawyer in the industry. Of course removing the trademarked names (the pictures are ours), would mean that 3blenders.com would have an... read full review »

Vita Mix 5200 Blender Torque
Thomas Fox November 23, 2009
A customer told us the she spoke with Vita Mix, after purchasing the Vita Mix Vita Prep 3 / 1005 3 hp commercial blender. Vita Mix (the office that sells the Vita Mix 5200 blenders) said the the Vita Prep 3 hp blender and the Vita Mix 5200 blender are equally strong. This information is incorrect. The Vita Mix Vita Prep 1005/3hp commercial blender is faster and has more torque. It can blend and emulsify strawberry nuts and raspberry seeds, etc, within 15 to 20 second. The 5200 Vita Mix blender requires for the same job about 40... read full review »

Blendtec HP3A and Total Blenders
Thomas Fox November 23, 2009
Blendtec has come up with it's latest attempt for a competitive advantage over Vita Mix by offering the 96oz / 3 liter container with 4 inch blade. While it is of course intriguing to have a 96 oz container space to fill up with ingredients, it also means following: 1. more strain on the motor because the blade is larger 2. more smoothie servings or more ingredients wasted 3. more money spent and more equipment standing around in the kitchen... etc. Do you really need a 96oz container? When would one need a 96oz... read full review »

Sound Enclosure Box fits Vita Mix 5200 Blender
Thomas Fox November 5, 2009
Vita Mix Corporation claims that it will void the warranty of blenders placed into sound enclosures that are not made by Vita Mix because they may not provide appropriate air ventilation. Vita Mix comes up with this because their sound enclosures cost over $ 200 dollars and our cost less than $ 80. Our sound enclosures have been appropriately engineered and equipped with adequate air ventilation space to allow for motor cooling. Plus, if you use the Vita Mix 5200 blender too much anyway, unlike the Vita Mix Vita Prep 3 hp commercial... read full review »

OMNI V 3 hp Blender Versus Vita Mix 5200 Blender
Thomas Fox November 5, 2009
Vita Mix has contacted us and alleged that we are infringing on their trademark and patents in respect to the OMNI Blenders. This is an unsubstantiated claim and it is not warranted to make demand for removal of the www.3blender.com located OMNI 3 Hp High Performance Blender with equal quality and blending power as the Vita Mix 4500 Turbo Blender and the Vita Mix 5200 Blender. We have since altered the website and removed any images of blenders that might be in violation in our opinion. It would be nice though, to get some feedback... read full review »
