One of our phone lines stopped working (no dialtone) on 11/2. Verizon told us a technician would come between 8 and 5 on 11/5. After wasting a day waiting, we were told that the computer cancelled the technician because the problem was fixed-of course it wasn't. After struggling to get a human on the phone at Verizon, we were able to persuade a supervisor to call dispatch and he promised that a technician would come on 11/6 between 8:30 and 11:00 am.
