I received a hydro bill from Direct Energy for $610.88 for a 2-bedroom rental unit. I consider this price exorbitant. When I requested that we would like to opt out of using this utility provider going forward, they said that we can do this for an additional $540.00, which should take affect within the next one or two billing cycles!
