I was a British Gas customer up until 2006, in the property i moved into there was prepayment meters gas and electric. after about 6 months my gas meter kept tripping the tamper function cuttting off my gas supply. British Gas took days at a time to attend and I was left one time with no gas in november for 5 days. this continued for nealry 2 months I then insisted they changed my meters and was visited my a very sensible engineer who agreed.
