Nationwide is claiming my fridge and cooktop repairs were reported by the repairman as "pre-existing", but I've talked to him and he says the cooktop should be covered, he has no idea why the claim wasn't approved, and he hasn't been paid for the last 4 repairs he's done for the company at other homes. I had another home warranty last year and would have called in the repair if it had existed before, but Nationwide doesn't see it that way. I asked for a refund and was told I'm out of my "cancellation period" even though the policy just started this month. read full review »
