I am a landscaper. Before working on a project I had all utilities located. In the back yard there were two separate orange paint lines both starting from the Qwest main phone box and both leading to the phone box mounted on the house, but in two separate areas of the yard. We dug all the areas that were painted by hand and two feet beyond the marks then used equipment for the rest. Guess what, I hit a phone line and it was a good 3 feet from the line.
