I have been down on my luck lately but this tops it off. I had to scrounge change up, the last to my name to go out and buy two Arizona iced teas and after walking over a mile down the road to the Texaco on the corner of Cox Rd. and Franklin in Gastonia NC proceeded to check out. I put the items on the counter and he rang them up fair enough, total of $2.13 cents. Even after letting customers in front of me pay because I knew it was going to take a moment to correctly count out the change I laid it out on the counter.
