Earlier today my fiancee went to the local Kay Jewelers store in Titusville to get her white gold engagement ring replated. Turns out that trip was worthless, because as soon as the woman who worked there took a look at the ring she said they couldn't plate it because it is "fake." The ring has a 1ct moissanite stone, and according to her they could only plate real diamond rings.
