My mom was listening to a Spanish radio station which advertised FREE vacation package if you answer correctly a trivia question. My mom called into the radio station, answered the question correctly, and was told she won a FREE trip to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta just for answering the question correctly. The radio representative gave her the information regarding the vacation deal but she would have to pay $353.98 one time activation charge. I have had similar situation with BofA in processing the short-sale. The short-sale was approved in July, the buyer backed out of the deal in August. I submitted new offer on Sept. 15. The file was closed in Oct. 20, since, supposedly, " buyer backed out". I kept explaining to the representative that the buyer backed out in August, current buyer is still waiting for approval. But they will do nothing to correct the comments in their system or remedy the situation. Currently, the file has been given to a new negotiator and the process will begin all over again.
