College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving® started in 2003 as a summer side hustle. Two college friends, Omar Soliman and Nick Friedman, borrowed a van to haul unwanted furniture for neighbors. What began as a way to earn extra money turned into a full-fledged business plan that won an entrepreneurship competition at the University of Miami.
