Please tell me why anybody would bid on an auction item before the last 10 seconds of the auction? If anybody bidding really wanted to win the auction, they would never run the price up by bidding early. It only increases the final price for them, if they really intend to buy the item. Are these really employees instructed to run the price up? Nobody could be stupid enough to not realize they are only increasing the price for their self by bidding early. I have also had my orders for auction items cancelled. When I called customer service, they explained that many times the items are also available from the main website, or on-air. Customer services explained that if someone purchases the same item over the phone or from the regular online site, it will get filled before the auction items, so sometimes the auction item gets sold out before they can fill the order, and the order must be cancelled.
