WECU costumer agent as much as stated they know about the shady pracitces of these types of merchants. I am not taking issue with the legality of the situation. The point is they do not provide account alerts when suspicious changes are made even when they have blocked such charges on the account.
Apparently the size of the union affects their ability to provided this type of service. Dont's assume all Visa accounts are the same even with a non profit reputable credit union that is typically about the members. Great for loans, checking but I have now seen not adequate with credit fraud protection service.

Provided NO member protection when my Visa account was charged by a known shady Merchant with an internet scam. Per the WECU card service agent they did block one charge attempted by the company(s) but then allowed four more to be paid and a fifth on the same day I informed them of the abuse. This happened over a four week period and I NEVER recieved any type of notice or alert regarding the activity. Since they blocked a suspicous charge and state this is a known problem with this type of mechant they should have alerted me.

I want to add the minute I tried to cancel a "membership" with the sister product "Purely White" they tried to charge 89.95 to my account 7 days after thier intial charge of 89.95 . When speaking with customer sevice Bonnie and tony descibe it as a "glitch". All told I'm currently out around 185.00 and that's IF I get the second 92.37 refunded (returned unopended product within 24 hours of getting with "RMA" # and a delivery tracking number) and I don't get stuck with second charge . Purely white along with Denta white got me also. Purely white one of the more current names for these shady merchants. My story is much the same as other victims so won't repeat here. These companies change their product names, webs sites and have multiple physical addresses in the US and aboard.
Currently banks and credit unions and credit card companies aren't protecting us from this type buisness practice.
Ask you banking institution to block these types of companies from posting charges on their member's accounts, they... read full review »

I attempted to send a complaint to GoogleAds regarding thier support of shady Merchants peddling teeth whitening products. I always thought Google was an above board company but this pratice tainted my view of thier services. I also noticed they offer a service to adverstisers to get rid of negative feedback regarding on the net. Unbelivable. read full review »
