Do not buy seagate sata 500gb hard disk. I bought my new system in 17-Jan-2008. It was working till 28-Nov-2009, then i realized that it had bad sectors in it. Then I made inquiries about seagate sata 500gb hard disk and gave the hard disk in service center. They said, it was not purchased from an authorized dealer so they will not repair or replace it. Some one told me that seagate sata 500gb hard have failed so please do not buy seagate sata 500gb hard disks. Does any one know how to remove bad sectors from my hard disk ? read full review »
